The Evaluation Of Panoramic Radiographies Of 200 Prosthodontic Patients

Objective: The aim of this study was to evaluate the panoramic radiographies of partial and edentulous 200 patients which attend our clinic for prosthodontic treatment. Material and Methods: Panoromic radiographies were taken from 99 female and 101 male patients using Planmeca PM 2002 EC Proline. The radiographies were evaluated in negatoscop for pathological findings like bruied teeth, infection, residuel radix and data were registered to the forms that were prepared before. Conclusion: In consequence, the evaluation of panoramic radiographies before prosthetic treatment have a significant role in detecting pathologic cases and also planning prosthetic treatment. Results: At the end of investigations no pathological finding was observed in 133 (65.5 %) cases although in 67 (34.5 %) cases one or more pathological inventions were determined.
