A 20-year-old man patient, who presented lymphangioma in the right buccal mucosa of the mental foramina region was treated and he was referred to our clinic due to the complaints of ineffectiveness in mastication and esthetics. He refused orthognatic surgery and orthodontic treatment and thus prosthetic treatment was planned. Performing clinical and radiographic evaluations, extractions of the teeth 31 and 34 that tipped to the edentulous arch due to the tooth 41 was early extracted, and fabricating two porcelain fused metal crowns to the teeth 37, 47 were decided. Besides the teeth 15-17 were restored with porcelain fused metal bridge for maxilla. Fixed implant supported prosthesis to mandible was planned. Six implants were placed to the mandible. At the end of 3 months after osseointegration, prostheses were made. 3rd, 6th month, 1st, 2nd and 3rd year clinical follow-ups were done. At the end of 3 year clinical follow-ups; more function, phonation, esthetic and patient satisfaction were seen. It is considered that successful results could be obtained with fixed implant supported prosthesis with appropriate diagnosis and treatment planning, in the rehabilitation of partially edentulous arch cases who refuse orthognatic surgery and orthodontic treatment and have bad interocclusal relation, occlusal plan and occlusion. Keywords: Dental implants; jaw, edentulous, partiallyTurkiye Klinikleri J Dental Sci 2008, 14:18-26
